Ok, so I finally beat this game...well, sort of. My game saves don't work anymore and I'm on the final boss and the VTOL won't come pick me up to trigger the final boss. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get all the hype about this game, I ran into so many bugs it felt like it was in beta. Did anyone else experience this, or does my pc just not like crysis at all? All in all it was a fun game, when it worked properly.

I have yet to play this again since I got my new gfx card. I should really get on this.

I had a couple of bugs, but I think I only had to replay a chapter (last save point) once. I did not have issues with helicopters, though. Other than I couldn't fly one worth a crap.

I liked the storyline even though it is not new. Obviously being the first DX10 game, it probably could have used more help in the programming portion. Even though I view Crytek as a company with really good programmers. I think hype took over the testers and they released it perhaps a little too early. Not sure how patches work because I never did them.

I want to play it again, but I want to do a lot of things.

Install the patches they fix a lot of crap, including the end boss never showing up or something weird with that. I can't remember exactly.

On my game the vehicles are invisible and I don't know why. lol

Unfortunately, I had the patches installed. I've never had good luck with this game. I'm going to blame it on nVidia, because I got it for free with my graphics card. They must have given me a bad one. Maybe I'll buy it on steam when it goes on sale.

I'm about half way through the game right now, maybe further. So far I really like it, there are things about it I don't like but overall I think it's one of the better FPSs I've played in a while.

Yeah I really liked this game and played it through twice. As for the bugs they are very random, the first time I played it through I had absolutely no problems anywhere, then the second time I had the boss problem and then playing it later is when I have the invisible vehicles (and yeah blake the people just float around all weird).

The second time I played it on the hardest difficulty and that was a lot of fun although it basically requires that you just snipe everybody in the head.
