Ventrilo: The How To

Do you want Vent? Well we have it!

First you need to download it.
Go here:
Click "I Agree"
Click "Save File"

Now find where you downloaded the file to. Double click it to open/start the setup.
A window should pop up, click "Run"
Follow the steps to install the program.
Once installation is complete, you should be looking at the main user display.

Looks confusing eh? No worries.
From here you will set up your user name, server, and any other settings.
Click the righter most arrow beside User Name.
Click "New" and enter whatever name you wish. Then click "OK" or press enter.
Click "OK" once more to take you back to the main display.
Now click the righter most arrow next to Server.
Click "New" and enter in Arrested Development. Then click "OK" or press enter.
Now under Hostname or IP, enter this: 209.247.83.97
And under Port Number, enter this: 4295
Password is: ad
This is the IP address and port number you will use to connect to the Arrested Development Vent.
Click "OK" and you should be back at the main display.
Almost done.
Make sure you have the correct User Name and Server selected by clicking the drop down arrow under the corresponding field and selecting your User Name and Server.
Finally, click "Connect"

You should now be in the Arrested Development Vent.
You will be promptly greeted by an Admin and/or other person.
Grab a soda, crack it open, relax, and chat away!
