Obvious argument, but fun to pick at! I vote PC because my Macbook severely hindered my gaming and it cost me twice as much as a decent dell that could play HL2. I could have spent $600 on an amazing desktop, but no... I had to buy a cute little white thing that boots up in 5 seconds and doesn't slow down. Oh well. It's a laptop and takes notes. That's my rant.
The only reason I even still own my Macbook is because no one cares to make virus' for them. I will use it for classes this fall & spring, but after that it's lost all purpose!

Om, I think everyone knows that I am clearly biased toward PCs. I love Windows and feel comfortable that my computer can do anything that I need it to do. I have not had a virus in years and have nothing to complain about. Although, I am biased because I know exactly what I am doing with my PC and so many people don't have a clue how to take care of a computer.
If I owned a mac (not including my Apple II's), then I might get to know them a little better and maybe like them more, but from what I can tell Apple is not a great corporation in my eyes and their products are way overpriced for no more than they can do.

I must have seen 10+ people during sweeps that didn't know how to use their own damn Mac. Switching wireless networks was too hard for some. Seriously I went into a room in McNutt where two dudes were blaring their stupid music on iTunes while playing Madden 09 on the 360. They both had Macbook Pros! I thought it was funny they spent thousands on their machines to just play music.

I think I like what I have now, i.e. Mac laptop, PC desktop. But I dunno, ideally if I were rich I would have a PC that is strictly built for gaming, but a Mac desktop too, because I prefer working in Adobe applications on Mac OS. Honestly if it weren't for gaming I would probably only have Macs if I were rich, I just prefer the Mac OS interface for numerous reasons.
However I'm surprisingly not rich and Macs are unnecessarily expensive sometimes, so even though I think the operating systems are usually far superior I doubt I'll be getting another Mac anytime soon, or at least not until I'm ready for another laptop which probably won't be for at least several years from now. I really love my MacBook Pro and I don't regret buying it, it's just that it was so expensive and my desktop, even with the monitor and other accessories included, was less expensive and I find myself using it much more often. Although granted it's a desktop, and 99% of the time I'm using it I am gaming or browsing the internet.
I think there are pros and cons to both. I do all my torrenting on my Mac, for example, and in the two or so years I've had it I've never once gotten a virus. Not even a single spyware or a warning or anything. I also did most of my early gaming on my Mac via Boot Camp. So yeah, I guess I don't really prefer either Mac or PC... I probably prefer PCs over Macs, but prefer Mac OS over Windows, if that makes sense.

I like my PCs. The only reason I would ever get a MAC is for Final Cut Pro.

I as well enjoy PC's better. I would like to own a MAC some day, for coolness factor.
After five years I've died, and became an annoying cloud. Yep, that was worth it.

I think you're cool enough already. Do you really want to p-p-p-push it?

Here is some tidbit about Apple Corp. Most of this has already been in the news, but since cracked.com did an article, I thought it was worth posting. http://www.cracked.com/article_18377_5- ... le_p2.html

I'm a former mac boy who was de-brainwashed by A+ Computers now I can see the light and breathe clear air again I think my quote on my signature clearly says it all but if anyone wants me to write the list then bring it I can can do an entire essay as to why PC owns a mac everyday of the week
Hates Mondays since 1990 till the day I die.
