Bod sent me this trailer.
For me, it doesn't look that appealing, but not a bad trailer I suppose. I probably won't play this game as Farcry2 didn't really appeal to me either.

Yeah, I don't know. I liked the way you could utilize the knife in either a stabbing or throwing capacity, or both. On the other hand, it looks very console-ified.

The trailer appeared to be from the console version, which actually doesn't surprise me since it's Ubisoft.

I liked Farcry 2 alright. I kind of hated it while I was playing it, but I have fond memories of it for some reason too. I'll probably buy this one when it goes on sale even though it will most certainly be a shitty console port.
Ubisoft has completely hijacked the franchise by this point. Farcry 2 was Farcry in name only, and this seems like more of the same. They don't even bother trying to half-ass a health system anymore -- now it's just a cover-based, regenerating health game like every other FPS to come out in the last 5+ years. Lame.
