I don't know about all of you, but I didn't watch them because I didn't really know they were on. But almost every station this morning on the way to work was talking about them so I had to look up the results.

http://www.grammy.com/nominees

I didn't realize there were so many categories, I might need to look for a re-run to see how this all goes down.

I have to say that I completely agree with:
"Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media" - Slumdog Millionaire
"Best Score Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media" - Up
"Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media" - Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire)
"Best Instrumental Composition" - Married Life (Up) - Anything that Michael Giacchino does is great.

Also Eminiem, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas all walked home with awards. Unfortunately the Silversun Pickups did not, but they should have.

Yeah we turned it into a drinking game. Drink every time someone under 21 performs, presents, or wins. Every Lady Gaga costume change. Every time someone thanks Jesus/God. etc.
They don't show all of the categories on TV. Just the ones people care about.

I wondered because are the gospel and jazz sections really that popular? Talk about nap time. It's a big list, I guess that's why popular stuff stays popular.
