290,731 users used 123456 as their password = /fail
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2358273,00.aspKinda reminds me of my family. Try as I must, passwords need to go away and passphrases should be a standard.
Maybe I could set the AD website to only allow Passphrases, what do you guys think?

That is one possibly way I would write their password under my system. I have my own complex and sometimes arbitrary system for making passwords that basically strings together random words or phrases and replaces certain letters with numbers. There is some randomness (which ones I replace and which I don't is arbitrary) and I have to remember the actual words mnemonically, and it's not something as dumb as "one-two-three". Also some of the letter replacement is not as apparent as a 0 and an o, i.e. I replace the letter c with 9.

I usually stick to the standard e=3, i=1, s=5, but I also try to add characters when I can and sometimes spaces.
@Bod, that sounds like a great system, but it would take about an extra day to remember; lol
I also make arbitrary letter to number associations and have to remember which ones they are.
Does anybody use ALT characters? My Informatics professor did and I think that might be a little too secure, lol.
