Wireless vs. Ethernet GamingSubject says it all. Do you play games wireless? I can't decide if it's worth running a cable from my neighbors apartment into mine. I have a 50ft ethernet cord and could do it. I'm going to be playing Counter Strike, L4D, and TF2 mostly.

Sometimes life is just too uncertain to have regrets.
Re: Wireless vs. Ethernet GamingAlways go corded when you can. Especially with games such as the ones you mentioned. You dont want the unreliable connection you will get from wireless.
After five years I've died, and became an annoying cloud. Yep, that was worth it.
Re: Wireless vs. Ethernet GamingAlrighty, sounds good. I guess it's time for me to get creative and run a 50ft Ethernet cord around my apartment

Re: Wireless vs. Ethernet GamingWireless Routers/Cards don't typically drop a lot of packets, but if your gaming, you will notice when it does. I always run wired.

Re: Wireless vs. Ethernet GamingI play a lot on my laptop and it runs wireless. I don't really notice any packets dropped and as long as you have a decent router and good signal you really shouldn't notice any problems.
The pills just give me unbelievable cotton mouth.
