new cumputer

so i got this "free" dell inspiron 8600 series computer virtually free. anyway long story short i want it rid of everything...how do i do this. all i really need on it is firefox program wise and possible avg.
your thoughts?

buy a copy of XP from your school; looks like it only has 512 memory and a 40gb hdd, so firefox is about all it will run anyway, lol.
Put the disc in and tell it to format the partition.
It will clean it up for you, then you have a like-new computer.
If you want a bigger hdd or more memory, then we might be able to do this over spring break.

haha hey now trust me its not worth stealin lol. i just acquired it haha. btw there isnt enough ram to put windows vista on it
oh and ill wear my new party pants to this thingy
