That sounds good. I am not sure what plugins Steam allows in the motd, but we can probably find something. Maybe flash? or Javascript?

Ok, the motd soundfile has been shortened. Its about 5 seconds long now, connect and tell me what you think. I can always change it again.

sounded good to me. although there is a slight hiccup at the beginning of the sound file. anyone else notice this?

yes i also noticed the beginning, it sounds like it was cut in the middle of a sound or something, maybe .1 of a second later and it would not be noticed, but it could also just be from the loading time that causes this.

I'll make it fade longer, I noticed it too earlier today and I'll take care of it tonite, maybe.
